  • How Users Opt In

    Della sends transactional, account-related text notifications only to users who opt in inside our Della Connect application. Opt-in happens after sign-in, from Settings → Notification Preference. The screen below is shown exactly as users see it.


    Affirmative opt-in. Every notification category has its own “Text” checkbox. Text checkboxes are unchecked by default — a user must actively check a box to receive SMS for that category, and can uncheck it again at any time from the same screen. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of using Della’s services.


    Point-of-opt-in disclosure. The consent language shown beside every Text checkbox reads: “By checking this box, you agree to receive text notifications from Della. Message frequency varies, message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”


    Who receives texts. Building operators and staff opt in via this screen. Residents receive a text only when they request one themselves (for example, a password reset link). Visitors receive a one-time text when a resident or building operator sends them a visitor pass.

  • SMS / Text Messaging

    Della Inc (“Della”) sends transactional and account-related text messages to users who opt in. These include maintenance request updates, chat and message notifications, visitor pass delivery, building and device alerts (such as leak or battery warnings), and account security messages such as password reset links. Della does not send marketing or promotional text messages.


    Consent. Building operators and staff opt in to text notifications by enabling SMS in their notification settings in Della Connect. Residents receive text messages only when they request them, such as a password reset link. Visitors receive a one-time text message when a resident or building operator sends a visitor pass to the phone number provided for them. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using Della’s services.


    Message frequency varies based on your activity and building events. Message and data rates may apply.


    Opting out. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from Della. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also contact us through the Contact page on our website.


    No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third party. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
